To be honest - I (John), didn't like Mui Ne much at all, it is just a strip of pretty ordinary looking beach filled with resorts and hotels and clubs - it doesn't have much appeal or character but I am sure if I stayed longer I may have found something I really enjoyed about the place. North of this beach you can find a nice fishing village - should've spent time there I think!
The place we stayed at in Mui Ne had so much potential but the staff didn't seem to care about anything - They have a cafe sapce but it was never open, a restaraunt but again never open or available and they were just very apathetic toward everything!!
Other than that - the place was lovely and cheap and right on the beach.
It rained quite a lot when we were here so getting some sun was not on the cards and maybe added to the ill-feeling I have with the place.
We purchased so much fruit from this fruit stand.... the mandarins were sensational!!! |
We got a bit fed up with the restaurants down our end of the beach not serving anyone and not really caring so we headed to the posh end for a sneaky peek. Ann was also looking for the place she stayed at last time she was in Mui Ne - so heading back to that area we found a nice place with the pool, (below) really good staff and yummy food - and we got to watch another storm unfold as we ate.
