This place pictured below is called the Sailing Club and it was across the road from our hotel on the beach. It was so nice, the food was amazing and the drinks too but a little pricey. We visited this place on two occasions and loved it!

We popped in for a quick look at one of the local temples - it was Sunday so there were many people praying and milling around the complex, so we didn't stay long.

Mud Bathing - we took a scooter just out of town to this place that had hot mud springs and mineral waters - we took the time to soak in a mud bath followed by a shower and then sitting in the warm mineral pools. it is suppose to be good for you - it was at the very least relaxing. Ann loved it!!

On our way back from the mud baths we stopped off at this temple (above). It is really old but in good condition, it was restored a few times. Now there is a nice little cafe on top next to the temple structures and from up there on the hill the view is awesome across Nha trang city and the surrounding coast. This part is also where the river meets the sea so you can see many local fishing boats coming in and out.
You can see the river meeting the sea and the difference in colour - it is quite a sight - the brown and the blue
Vietnamese Coffee - always a treat!! |
