Back to Samui via the ferry and directly to Bangkok Samui Hospital in a ambulance from the pier - We spent a few hours negotiating with our insurance company and the hospital staff before Ann was released back into the wild.
Because we liked Samui Beach Resort so much - we headed straight to there and checked in for a weeks rest. It didn't take long until Ann had cabin fever - she just waited to go out and do something, but we made her stick to the Doctors orders and just relax and elevate and ice the foot for a few days before taking a walk to far.
We mostly sunbathed and swam, ate and drank and read our books. The weather was mostly good with a spot of rain and a little storm in the afternoons.
A big/little bug we found on the path near our room.

Buddha! all Zen like and peaceful
Boredom struck on day 8 - there is only so much sitting around I can do, and my mate Doey, who worked in the resort restaurant and bar at night introduced me to his tattoo artist friend. After some negotiations and sussing out of the artists skills I decided on a nice Thai piece.

On the last night John went out with the resort manager/owner and his mates. Just over the hill from Samui Resort Resort, into the night life to a group of bars positioned around a Thai Boxing ring - On this night the boxing was amateurs and some of the ladies working in the bars would get in the ring against each other - It was pretty excited a bit sleazy and a whole lotta funny.
