Konglor Village 6th-8th Oct

We heard about an amazing underground river that runs 7.5km through a mountain in Konglor Village and that you can take a long-tail boat through the mountain cave and see stalagmites and stalactites and pop out on the other side and visit another small village. So we went there and were not disappointed at all, the village was lovely made up of not many people and there was only about 5 tourists in total in the village.

Hot John

Our guest house 60,000kip £4.65 or $7.24 per night, the views were amazing on one side was rice fields stretching to a far away community and in front (as above) rice fields stretching toward a sharp vertical jut - this mountain range kept Konglor Village secluded and only accessible from the north.

Above - Chanta Guest house - was an awesome place to stay. The owner Ai and his young family were very nice and helpful. They also hosted the best view in town - from our room - and the biggest Gekho we have ever seen!!!!

Konglor Cave 7.5km in the dark!!!

We don't have many photos from inside as it was really dark

After about 10min the boat pulled in at a patch of land and the guide walked up to a little box on the wall and to our amazement turned the lights on.......

We had a small walk over some rocks and through to the other side where the boat met back up with us.

On the other side of the cave we popped out and took a little path through the trees to visit a small community.
